The Biblical Core Course gives students a thorough understanding of the inductive approach to Bible study, equipping them with many tools for integrating the Word of God into their personal lives, and using it as a foundation for ministry. Students also have opportunities to be involved in topical seminars, dramatic re-creations, and various forms of research, including historical, literary and geographical studies.

During the course students do in-depth studies on books from both the Old and New Testaments. They will have the opportunity to work with every form of literature found in the Bible, including the Gospels, Epistles, Torah, Prophetic, and Poetic books. Besides giving the students the skills needed for studying the Bible, the BCC provides a means for learning how to incorporate the Scriptures into areas of evangelism, worship, and intercession. They are also given opportunities to gain experience in leading small group Bible studies as well as to enhance their teaching and preaching skills.
