What would a Discipleship Training School in Australia be without the opportunity to see a kangaroo up close? On the weekend we went to the Billabong Sanctuary where we not only got to see kangaroos, we got to pet them and feed them. Some even held a koala, a python… and a crocodile! Last Friday was ANZAC Day. For those who don’t know, ANZAC is more than just a really good sort of biscuit (cookie). It stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps and it’s a day to celebrate our soldiers. We've been all over North Queensland so far, but this isn't your average road trip! The January 08 DTS is on outreach and they've had some great times telling people about Jesus. From Cairns to Gladstone doing everything from BBQs to sport days to Auslife seminars, these guys have been lavishing the love of Christ on people. Picture an average Australian girl – dark hair, fun-loving, social and smart. Youth Street Vanuatu has officially become a reality as of yesterday afternoon. Vanuatu is a Pacific Island Nation and around seventy kids come out and join dance, sport and arts and crafts teams. "Deeper" (that's the name of the camp I was just on) was incredible! We had a lot of fun and God really moved in pretty big ways.
