YWAM - Australia Reef to Outback

Oi! Oi! Oi!

It's so great to immerse yourself in another culture. To learn new things and experience new foods. One of the 'new' things the DTS has experienced here in Australia is thw wonderful game of rugby. What better way to learn a new game then to see it played first hand at the Rugby World Cup where some of the games were here in Townsville! So the DTS and IPHC got on our games faces for Australia vs Papua New Guinea! Although both sides put up a good fight, in the end Australia was victorious!

We got a good dose of the wonderful Australian culture as we chanted and cheered the team to victory. For most of the students it was the first Rugby game they had ever seen. Over the past 5 weeks the DTS has been learning a lot about new cultures. This week in lectures we are discussing missions. We have the wonderful Captian Jesse, from Marine Reach New Zealand, here to share about the importance and biblical foundations for world wide missions. We are being challenged that missions in not just something you do but it has to do with our mindset. So far we have really been enjoying this week of teaching! We can't wait to see what is in store for us the rest of the week.
