Stable on the Strand
Stable on the Strand is an annual event presented by the Combined Churches of Townsville & Thuringowa and the Townsville City Council. It illustrates the true Christmas Story to the people of our region, using a variety of presentation methods. Over 1000 volunteers from 60 churches are involved. The Stable Story - a dramatic, walk through interactive display depicting the historical culture surrounding the Christmas Story. A Family Festival for Children, Teenagers and Adults, that includes musical performances, carolling, face painting, bubble blowing, juggling, large scale games, puppets, beach games, free tea, coffee and Christmas Cake.
